Excuse the excessive exclamation points, but it’s been an incredibly challenging year, and any and all accomplishments should be celebrated!!!
I’ve been working on this novel for three years. It has been a glorious and painful process. It has also been a refuge from the monotony of mom life. I’ve loved learning the craft and being in a writing group.
When my writing days are no so productive, I remind myself that I FINISHED A BOOK. It’s a first draft, and the work of revising is daunting, but I finished one draft, and I know I will (eventually) finish a second draft also.
I’ve relied on external motivation and accountability for most of my life. I plan to use this blog to hold myself accountable. Follow this blog to see my process!
